Dr. Purohit Shrinivasacharya

Dr. Purohit Shrinivasacharya is an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Science and Engineering at Siddaganga Institute of Technology, Tumakuru, with experience since 2004. He holds a Ph.D. from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. His research spans image processing, cloud computing, and blockchain-based data security, with recent work on chronic kidney disease classification and plant disease detection using deep learning. He has 22 Scopus-indexed publications, including 7 journal articles, 13 conference papers, and 2 book chapters, along with 3 patents in IoT-based agricultural applications. His Google Scholar profile shows 213 citations (h-index: 7), while Scopus records 41 citations (h-index: 4). He received the Best Paper Award at ICDECS-2015 and is a member of The Institution of Engineers (India).
